A high-strength blasting medium produced by adding chromium to standard steel, melting at high temperature, crushing and quenching. Excellent workability, economy, consistent process quality and a clean, environmentally sound operation.

Features

  • High-strength medium with excellent machinability; produces an even, clean and uniform surface finish
  • Superior workability compared with other abrasives under identical conditions
  • Over 20× the life of aluminium oxide and 2.5× that of steel grit — highly economical
  • Very clean working environment with no abrasive corrosion

Applications

  • Removal of grinding marks on stainless products — replaces acid treatment
  • Removal and stripping of Teflon coating on frying pans and kitchenware
  • Pre-treatment for thermal spray coating
